VR technology in particular is an example of such advancement as it deals with interactive technology which makes the distinction between the virtual and the real confusing. The users of the metaverse can socialize, attend some events, and even have the business meetings in 3D space. This shift is changing the way individuals are working remotely, offering opportunities to create virtual offices and boost people’s creativity knowing that they are together even if they are far away from each other. In addition, entertainment is becoming social and engaging through the metaverse to play games, and watch live concerts in living rooms. Looking at the examples of industries such as education and healthcare, the use of VR in applications can be seen as a way to improve the learning/training possibilities. But as we venture into this new terrain, issues like privacy and availability of information to everyone can be considered a worthy cause. In conclusion, it is possible to note that the metaverse denotes a new type of environment for the digital future of society, which has the potential to drastically change the existing paradigm of people’s daily lives and interpersonal communication.
